Silent proclamation in favor of life is the strategy that young people from different churches from Mar del Plata are using to aware, teach and to declare the consequences of abortion. The Argentina Goverment intention of aproving the abortion law has motivated kids, teenagers and young people to stand in favor of life and to declare it in the streets.The people from Mar del Plata was surprised to see in the intersections of the streets and the street lights young people standing out in silence with a red label over their lips with the word “life” on it and posters with bible verses. They were kids, teenagers and youth interceding for the nation.

They also put tables with information, prevention and evangelism while others gave broshures to people with their mouths covered. -“The main idea of this activity is to gather together young 

people from our churches for evangelism ans intercession and at the same time to work in awaring people about abortion and its concequences”- says Daniel Etchart, Mar del Plata Youth With A Mission Director.

that die each year because of abortion This iniciative of Youth With A Mission Mar del Plata was taken from Bound 4 ministry from United States who has develop it since 30 years ago, but in difference of them that intercede in silence and cry in their inside for God´s justice, the youth of Mar del Plata at the same time they intercede, they make awareness and preach the gospel.

Is going to be three months of theory, which will be topics such as attributes of God, innerhealing, evangelism and also we will have surfing lessons and work on different activities on the beach with Christian Surfers Argentina, an international organization that has been working with surfers from all around the world..

Then we will have 2 months of practice in which each student will have the possibility to share what they learned in the school in other cities and countries worldwide.

Faced with this difficult situation from Mar del Plata Argentina, a group of volunteers from Youth With A Mission (YWAM) developed a solidarity campaign with the idea of ​​participating actively supporting the Haitian people, inspired by a Bible verse that says: ”The best medicine is to have happy thoughts. When you lose the mood throughout the body gets sick. Proverbs 17:22 ”This raises the Smiles for Haiti campaign consisted of walking the streets of the neighborhood with posters, colorful costumes, musical instruments and clown noses to call the attention of neighbors.

The proposal was to take pictures with clown nose and draw happy pictures to take the children of Haiti. The main purpose was to send happy thoughts and words of hope. The response was very positive, so the campaign was extended beyond the southern suburbs of Mar del Plata, leading to several coastal towns as Claraz, Santa Clara Cobos, and others.

Throughout the year teams of volunteers from Youth With A Mission were traveling to Haiti to provide assistance and hope in the midst of the disaster that this nation faces. And in mid-July all these drawings were sent to one of the teams that traveled. And also, with King’s Kids, we took a folder of drawings to the Embassy of Haiti in Argentina. So we were able to reach our goal and many children received this encouragement from Argentina. Even they responded by sending them too many pictures which will be distributed to children who participated in this campaign.

As though the Bible says, the hope, the happy thoughts and solidarity of many nations are bringing restoration to the country. But above all proclaim himself as president of Haiti, the heart back to God through faith in Jesus Christ will lift this nación.
